Another High Point Spring Market has come and gone, and we’re still buzzing from the whirlwind of meeting up with our favorite interior designers, creatives and industry colleagues! Rowe was excited to unveil many special surprises at market, including our new Lounge Furniture Collection, a revamped showroom highlighting upcoming trends for spring 2018 and beyond, and our  My Rowe Design collaboration.

Rowe began market in style with an energizing Kick-Off Party, featuring plenty of great food, great friends and great conversation! Attendees mixed and mingled while sipping offerings from our full bar, including our signature “essence of spring” cooler with Tanqueray gin, St. Germain, fresh mint, simple syrup, club soda and a lime and cucumber garnish–very light and refreshing! Guests were also treated to hors d’oeuvres, a bruschetta bar, and the crowd-pleaser of the evening, a delicious braised beef short rib. What a way to jump start Spring Market!z

For many market attendees, our kick-off party was the first sneak peek at some exciting new developments from Rowe, including our new offerings in the Lounge program. A comfortably chic assortment of well-scaled pieces with exceptional versatility, the Lounge collection is available in upholstered and slipcovered styles, and represents the ultimate balance between comfort and durability.

Finally, we rounded out our market weekend with a Rowe High Point classic event–Lobster Roll Sunday! Every year, we treat our crowds to fresh lobster straight from the harbors in Boston, and our guests always mark their calendars for this special day! The sweet and decadent taste of lobster rolls provided much-needed refreshment to Sunday’s marketgoers, keeping the fun going and the energy high as we closed out the weekend. We’d like to thank all who attended market, corresponded with us, and followed us on social media–thank you for another truly special Spring High Point Market!

Inside the showroom, our My Rowe Design social space featured a custom wallcovering created by our showroom designers with Mitchell Black (a stunning focal point, we received so many compliments on this beautiful paper), as well as products from Jaipur Living, GO Home, Southern Sky Home, Crypton, Shadow Catchers, Universal Furniture, Annie Selke/Pine Cone Hill, Barbara Cosgrove and Classic Home. The rest of our showroom was  “dressed to impress,” highlighting our favorite trends for 2018 and beyond: a Refined Retreat experience, a Neo-Traditional look, and an exploration of Casual Sophistication. Florals made a huge impact in our spring looks, as did dusky blue, midnight, citrus, gold, and high contrast palettes.

Also new this season was the My Rowe Design project, a collaboration with top-tier interior design talent to showcase the creative potential of Rowe and Robin Bruce offerings. The truly must-make event of market season was the My Rowe Design Brunch, a “who’s who” VIP list of designer talent! Our recipe for a good time? Start with a build-your-own mimosa and Bloody Mary bar, and of course, our custom Donut Wall–a breakout hit, and the biggest photo op in the showroom!

Our hand-selected team of My Rowe Designers–Sita Montgomery, Rachel Shingleton (Pencil Shavings Studio), and Lance Jackson & David Ecton (Parker Kennedy Living)–were on hand to mingle and chat about their Rowe-inspired spaces. Invitees were first given the opportunity to mingle during a cocktail period, then a tour through the showroom.  Brunch included an omelette station and a lot of quality face-to-face time among reps and designers–many of whom opened new Rowe accounts!
