Another successful Fall High Point Spring Market has just wrapped up, and this one was truly inspiring! This season, we celebrated bold color and exotic style at our market events, and as always we were thrilled to have so many of our favorite designers, creatives and industry colleagues visit us at High Point as we showcase everything that’s new for 2020. Rowe was proud to debut many new looks and styles at market, including an updated showroom featuring our colorful trend predictions for fall and beyond, our partnership with Sunbrella Fabrics, and our most exciting introduction of the season, 29 brand new pieces in our occasional furniture line. We’re always excited to use market as an opportunity to share all of our new programs and ideas, and are thrilled to have all of you come along for the journey!

“The Rowe showroom always displays a beautiful mix of functional, yet incredibly beautiful upholstery. We absolutely love their new occasional line and are always excited to visit their showroom!”

This Fall season, we’re embracing globally-inspired design, influenced by organic textures, bold colors and patterns. Our focus is on an Exotic Retreat style as our trend forecast for 2020, but our showroom also explored liveable, loungeable luxury in a mineral color palette with a Neo Traditional look, Crisp Casual for a chic & refined way to create laid-back style, and High Contrast which brings the drama in crisp white and bold black. No matter what your style preference is, there’s a combination of Rowe pieces that will suit your space perfectly.

This season our signature Rowe Kick-Off Party featured our “Exotic Retreat” theme, inspired by global bohemian style with a Balinese twist. Party attendees mixed & mingled into the evening hours while enjoying a full bar, two signature craft cocktails, savory treats like kebabs, steamed bao buns and beef glass noodles, and of course, our strolling hors d’oeuvres station — always a huge hit with party guests. We look forward to this party every season, as it’s an energizing way to kick-off market while we connect with new & old friends over great food, drinks, and great conversation!

“Rowe Furniture was nothing but fun this High Point Market! So much talent and kindness!”

Our kick-off party always provides market attendees with an excellent opportunity for their first sneak peek at this season’s offerings from Rowe. One of our most popular showroom spots this fall market was the social room in our My Rowe Design area, spotlighting our brand new #MeetMadeline campaign. Guests were invited to “Meet Madeline” up close and personal in this relaxing space, and given more info on our versatile Robin Bruce Madeline Sofa, available in lush green velvet through our Quick Ship program. As we showcased in three fun promo videos in the social lounge…whether your aesthetic is elegant and sophisticated or casual and bohemian, there’s a Madeline look to fit your style!

“High Point Market did not disappoint! We came back home with a lot of design inspiration, trend information and new product selections from Rowe Furniture.”

Another market must-attend was the #MyRoweDesign showcase, returning this season with a brand new round of talented interior designers who were inspired by the creative potential of Rowe and Robin Bruce offerings. Socializing with some of the top design talent in the business is just one of the perks of our VIP event of the season, the My Rowe Design Brunch — the custom omelette station is always another delicious reason to attend! This fall’s elite roster of My Rowe Designers included Lisa Mende (Lisa Mende Design), Lori Miya (Miya Interiors), and Kelley Lentini & Berkeley Minkhorst (House of Nomad), all of whom joined us during brunch to mingle and chat more about their Rowe-inspired spaces. Many of our past My Rowe Designers made an appearance (Rachel Shingleton from Pencil Shavings Studio, Anissa Zajac from House Seven Design and Leyla Jaworski and Whitney Rose from Design Shop Interiors), making this event an exciting bridge between old friends & new ones!

“As designers, we go to market looking for treasures for our clients. This market, the treasures I discovered were the people I met thanks to Rowe Furniture. Not only does Rowe have a wonderful showroom with beautiful furniture, but Rowe is also filled with awesome people who genuinely want to help designers succeed.”

Also on the agenda were a number of fun offerings from our friends and My Rowe Design brand partners, each of which brought their own unique energy to the event. An installation in our display window highlighted our partnership with Sunbrella and featured two artists doing a live painting exhibition, reinforcing this season’s creative boho theme. Our friends at Shadow Catchers Art created a tasty sweets station, and Regina Andrew provided their signature chic, beaded Cobra Bracelets — a huge hit among attendees! Jaipur Living invited guests to create their own relaxing or energizing concoctions at their Essential Oil Blend Station, all while sipping fresh, locally made kombucha. Amity Home hosted an intriguing crystal intention reading in which guests could choose a particular crystal they were drawn to from a selection, then decode its personal meaning. Finally, we love all things vibrant and are always down for a little color theory, so of course Mitchell Black’s color fortune station offering readings based on guest’s choices from a selection of hues was an enormous hit, and so much fun!

“Rowe’s showroom at this High Point Market was a designer’s dream! I was seriously impressed with the level at which Rowe let their #MyRoweDesign team spread their wings – it really made them stand out!”

The Design Brunch continued this season’s exotic theme, offering yet another hint of Bali with mimosas decked out with gorgeous tropical orchids and paper umbrellas, plus a bloody Mary bar and signature cocktails and, of course, our ever-popular omelette station. Guests were invited to enjoy brunch at their leisure, then move on to experience the showroom and meet & greet with the My Rowe Designers. From Lisa’s colorful bohemian lounge to Lori’s sleek modern library and House of Nomad’s vibrant & layered sitting area, each design team was inspired by Rowe in distinctly beautiful ways. It’s always the high point of market to see how this designer collaboration unfolds, and this Fall’s showcase was a standout! As always, My Rowe Design spaces came together with the help of products from our brand partners at Jaipur Living, Interlude Home, Shadow Catchers, Visual Contrast, Amity Home, Mitchell Black, Zodax and Regina Andrew, serving as a showcase for some of the best in the industry. Many new friendships and Rowe accounts were formed during this event, and we are excited about all the new opportunities these new relationships bring!

We finished market weekend in classic Rowe fashion with one of our most popular High Point traditions…Lobster Roll Sunday! Every year, we treat our guests to fresh lobster straight from the harbors in Boston, and everyone always looks forward to this delicious day. This is traditionally one of our busiest market days by far, and is always a fun and energizing way to close out the season! We’d like to offer our warm thanks to all who attended market, corresponded with us, and followed us on social media–thank you all for helping to make this Fall High Point Market so special and inspiring!
