The Rowe team just wrapped up another successful High Point Fall Market, and we’re feeling endlessly inspired from meeting up with our favorite designers, creatives and industry colleagues! Rowe was proud to roll out many new looks and styles at market, including an updated showroom featuring our trend forecast for 2019, a new spin on our My Rowe Design program, and the most exciting news of all…the unveiling of our brand new case goods line! You’ve never seen Rowe quite like this before, so read on for more behind the scenes looks at fall market!

Rowe began market in style with our signature Kick-Off Party, inviting our guests to mix & mingle while enjoying plenty of great food, drinks, and great conversation! Party attendees enjoyed the festivities, which included a full bar, charcuterie spread, and (a guest favorite!) our strolling hors d’oeuvres station–pimento cheese wontons, anyone? Guests were also treated to our refreshing artisanal “Icelandic Pear” cocktail featuring vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, pear juice and champagne, shaken to perfection & served martini-style. Spending time with our Rowe friends & family, while sipping and mingling in style? There’s no better way to get the fall market season started!

As always, our kick-off party provided market attendees their first glimpse at this season’s intriguing new intros from Rowe. This season’s standout offering was, of course, our first-ever collection of case goods and occasional furnishings. This collection represents an exciting leap forward for Rowe, as we strive to provide you not only with the finest upholstered options, but also complementary pieces for every corner of the room, to perfectly pull your overall look together. A hands-down crowd favorite among market goers was the shapely Dune Desk, with its elegant oak veneer and mid-century-inspired curves.

On the new line of case goods: “It makes it easier for Rowe to be a one-stop shop for my clients. I think the [Cathedral Spot Table] is the one I’m most anxious to integrate into my projects because it has that higher end feel, but at a very approachable, affordable price point. I cannot wait–it’s perfect!”

“We loved the Rowe showroom…the new case goods line was a nice surprise! The Dune Desk seemed to be the crowd favorite. We came home super excited to share the line with our staff and clients!”

This season at Rowe, we’re ready to “Fall Back in Love With COLOR”…how about you? Muted tones are retreating to the background as color returns to the spotlight, and we couldn’t be more ready to splash some color around everywhere–starting with the Rowe showroom! We’re embracing rich, saturated hues and bold patterns against a backdrop of rich, warm neutrals. Looking forward to the trends of 2019, our showroom explored the timeless chic of Traditional Remix style, global luxury with Tribal Glamour, and  coastal style with our Modern Cottage look.  Luxurious textures such as velvet and marble made a bold statement in our fall looks, as well as lagoon blue, moss green, warm oranges and fuschias, earthy pastels and mixed metallic palettes.

“I love the pops of color that I see throughout the showroom. It’s fun to see this interplay of colors happening, getting away from basic neutrals. Bring back the color! Let’s make something that’s loaded with personality.”

2018 Fall Furniture Market BrunchThe My Rowe Design project returned this season, featuring a brand new round of top-tier interior designers inspired by the creative potential of Rowe and Robin Bruce offerings. For those looking to meet & greet some of today’s top design talent, our VIP event of the season was the My Rowe Design Brunch, with plenty of opportunities to socialize with the best in the business! Our My Rowe Design social space provided a high-style gathering place to discuss all things social media, as well as refreshments including champagne and cake pops (courtesy of our friends at Crypton). This fall’s hand-selected team of My Rowe Designers included Anissa Zajac (House Seven Design), Jessica Bennett & Suzanne Hall (Alice Lane Interiors), and Leyla Jaworski & Whitney Rose (Design Shop Interiors), all of whom were on hand during brunch to mingle and chat about their Rowe-inspired spaces. A build-your-own mimosa and Bloody Mary bar set the stage for bubbly fun, and our Cronut Wall (another returning favorite, so popular last market we had to bring it back) offered not only sweet treats but the perfect photo op! Invitees were also treated to brunch and an omelette station, a tour of the My Rowe Design spaces, and plenty of face time with reps and designers.

2018 Fall Furniture Market BrunchAs always, My Rowe Design spaces came together with the help of products from our brand partners at Jaipur Living, Interlude Home, Ro Sham Beaux, Crypton, Shadow Catchers, Visual Contrast, Amity Home, Mitchell Black, Stikwood, E.Lawrence, Barbara Cosgrove and Tritter Feefer, serving as a showcase for some of the best in the industry. Many new friendships and Rowe accounts were formed during this event, and we are excited about all the new possibilities these new relationships bring!

Finally, we brought market weekend to a close with a Rowe High Point tradition–Lobster Roll Sunday! Every year, we treat our guests to fresh lobster straight from the harbors in Boston, and this special day always proves to be one of our busiest events! An irresistible and decadent treat for all market-goers–even Design Shop Interiors and House Seven Design returned to share in the lobster roll mania–our Lobster Roll Sunday event helped to keep the fun going and the energy levels high as we closed out the weekend. We’d like to thank all who attended market, corresponded with us, and followed us on social media–thank you for another inspiring Fall High Point Market!
