On why she loves Rowe… “I love Rowe because they make my job as a designer so easy! Rowe offers so many different styles and options, and the quality is impeccable.”

On her signature style… “My design style is casual luxury. I like the rooms I design to feel comfortable but have a luxe look and feel. I always layer my interiors with found objects and texture to add interest and personality. My style can change with my client’s tastes, but bold color and pattern mixing are typically included in every design I create.”

On her My Rowe Design inspiration… “My Rowe Design is a pajama lounge with a casual, bohemian vibe. I can picture a family enjoying this space to watch tv, listen to music or play games. I chose fabrics that are soft and comfortable, as well as forgiving fabrics and colors that are good for families.”

Our generously proportioned Neval Sectional and a variety of ottomans make it easy to imagine family members enjoying this welcoming space to lounge and socialize. We love that Lisa represented her eclectic, often travel-inspired aesthetic by combining the soothing teal fabric with layers of punchy prints like the faux tiger stripes seen on our Miles Ottoman and the painterly brushstrokes on the Nash Swivel Chair.

Lori MiyaLori Miya (Miya Interiors)

Lori Miya is the owner and principal designer of Miya Interiors, a Utah-based firm specializing in full-scale commercial and residential interior design. Her enthusiasm for interior design and her passion for business are what set her apart. Lori’s award-winning designs are recognized for their original and artful mix of modern and traditional elements. This unique aesthetic, along with her innate attention to detail, has skyrocketed her into high acclaim within the luxury design industry.

On why she loves Rowe… “We love the versatility Rowe gives us. The range of styles works really well for our clients!”

On her signature style… “Our style is a comfortable mix of traditional and modern. I think it is important to have a space that feels livable, but still well thought-out with playful elements. The modern side keeps it new and exciting, and the traditional elements bring the comfort level and act as an anchor for the space.”

On her My Rowe Design inspiration… “We wanted it to have the warmth and familiarity of a classic library space, but with some modern elements that we’re loving right now.”

Standout Selections

Lori’s design vision called for large scale frames to complement the size of the space, ultimately including the elongated lines of the Robin Bruce Ellice Lounger, Madeline Sofa, and our 74” tall Dynasty Bar Cabinet. Another standout is the pair of Thatcher Chairs in black leather, which creates the classic library feel that Lori was after, but in a way that feels updated and streamlined rather than antique.

Kelley Lentini & Berkeley MinkhorstKelley Lentini & Berkeley Minkhorst (House of Nomad)

House of Nomad (HON) was co-founded by designers Kelley Lentini and Berkeley Minkhorst on the idea that travel fosters the best kind of creativity. A full-service design studio based in the South End of Charlotte, NC, the HON duo brings a fresh approach to interior design by collaborating on authentic, inspired spaces that stem from the intersection of their love of home and their love of travel. Kelley and Berkeley often bring back unique textiles, objects, and new ideas from various cultures around the globe, finding new ways to approach their eclectic, contemporary aesthetic. The world, the HON designers often say, is their ideal design school.

An element of “black and white” and the perfect vintage rug

Favorite Classic in the Making

Vintage Moroccan rugs are here to stay and can always be found in an HON design.

On why they love Rowe…“Rowe is truly a designer-friendly company! Their trade team is the best out there and the product is consistently fabulous for our clients!”

On their My Rowe Design inspiration… “Energetic, funky and layered. The inspo began with two things: the eclectic wallpaper by Mitchell Black and our favorite Rowe fabrics. Customization was key and the fact that we can get a Kuba cloth-inspired print was a game changer! This room sums up our style perfectly, and we love how it came together.”

On their favorite Rowe pieces in the space… “We are obsessed with the two Ellice Loungers — they have the perfect silhouette and together they create a unique sitting area. We love how the Pate Swivels add a little edge. We are also big fan girls of the Gigi Ottoman!”

Standout Selections

Our Asher Sectional is a real attention-getter in a boldly patterned black & white fabric. “Solids are great,” say the HON designers, “but you can make such an impact if you take a risk and go with a pattern on a large upholstered piece!” Another patterned standout is the pair of Ellice Loungers in a unique African-style print, a perfect fit for HON’s global travel-influenced aesthetic.
