Inside OutThat’s a wrap on another successful High Point Spring Market! Our invitation to you this market season? “Pull up a chair and join us at High Point Market”! We were thrilled to have so many of our favorite designers, creatives and industry colleagues visit us at High Point to celebrate everything that’s new in 2019. Rowe Furniture was proud to introduce many new looks and styles at market, including an updated showroom featuring Holloway Sofa our trend forecast for spring and beyond, exciting new frame styles, and our partnership with Performance Fabrics. We’re always moving upward and onward with new programs and ideas, and are excited to have all of you “pull up a chair” and join us!

This season, our signature Rowe Kick-Off Party doubled as a 21st birthday party for Robin Bruce, celebrating over two decades of style and innovation. Party guests were invited to mix & mingle while enjoying a full bar, our signature artisanal cocktails, a charcuterie spread, and our strolling hors d’oeuvres station that served up crowd favorites like deviled potatoes. An evening of great food, drinks, and great conversation is always our favorite way to get the spring market season started!

“Once again I was so impressed by the Rowe showroom! Every market the Rowe team completely outdoes themselves, and everything in the showroom is perfectly designed. It’s my favorite stop at market for inspiration!”
Rachel Trahin –  House Seven Design

Every season, our kick-off party provides market attendees with their first sneak peek at this season’s offerings from Rowe. One of our most buzzworthy attractions this spring market was the social room in our My Rowe Design area, which spotlighted the #MySylvieStyle campaign. We kicked off the campaign with by providing guests with more info on our Robin Bruce Sylvie Sofa and our Quick Ship program via three videos, and with a fun photo contest! Guests took a seat on Sylvie and displayed our #MySylvieStyle sign, then posted to social media with a caption describing their own “Sylvie style.” The winner will receive a Sylvie Sofa fully dressed in high-performance InsideOut fabric–fingers crossed and good luck to all who entered!

“I enjoyed visiting Rowe Furniture during High Point Market. I’m especially excited that Rowe is using InsideOut Fabrics on their furniture, which allows me to design a beautiful room with furniture that will withstand the wear & tear of kids and pets. Thank you Rowe for designing with real people in mind!”

The My Rowe Design showcase also returned this season, featuring a brand new round of talented interior designers who were inspired by the endless possibilities available with our Rowe and Robin Bruce lines. As always, the VIP event of the season was the My Rowe Design Brunch, offering plenty of opportunities to socialize with the best in the business! Our My Rowe Design social space provided a high-style oasis to rest & recharge, as well as being the place to be for our #MySylvieStyle photo contest. This spring’s top-tier lineup of My Rowe Designers included Erin Wheeler (Sunny Circle Studio), Erika Ward (Erika Ward Interiors), and Kristen Forgione (The LifeStyled Co), all of whom joined us during brunch to mingle and chat more about their Rowe-inspired spaces. A mimosa and Bloody Mary bar was a refreshing way to kick off the festivities, and our custom omelette station was once again a huge hit with both brunch invitees and the Rowe team. Did you catch our now-famous donut wall all over social media? This is now a perennial market favorite with our guests, offering not only sweet treats but the perfect photo op!

Our guests enjoyed brunch first, then were invited to join us in the main room where for the My Rowe Design panel (moderated by a returning 2018 My Rowe Designer, Rachel Shingleton of Pencil Shavings Studio). The panelists discussed all things My Rowe Design, shared the inspiration behind each of their spaces, and talked about working in the design industry and how they leverage social media as part of their business models. After the panel, guests were able to stroll through the My Rowe Design space, and were invited to chat further with the designers. As always, My Rowe Design spaces came together with the help of products from our brand partners at Jaipur Living, Interlude Home, Shadow Catchers, Visual Contrast, Amity Home, Mitchell Black, Zodax and Regina Andrew, serving as a showcase for some of the best in the industry. Many new friendships and Rowe accounts were formed during this event, and we are excited about all the new possibilities these new relationships bring!

“I loved Rowe’s mix of classic & timeless pieces with modern options for those who want to mix things up a bit. I especially loved how comfortable and customizable key pieces are, and had plenty of ‘OMG’ moments at the case goods and accent pieces–including the Dune desk! Definitely one of my favorite showroom visits at market.”

Anissa ZajacOur new frame styles all represent a fresh new perspective on modern classics. One standout from market was our brand new Holloway Sofa, a clean-lined style with chic tapered and brass-capped legs, seen here all dressed in a vibrant red-orange velvet that’s anything but neutral! A returning big hit at market was our Robin Bruce Neval Sectional, making a splash this season dressed in dark green menswear-inspired fabric. Finally, our Darcy Sofa dazzled designer Anissa Zajac (and a 2018 My Rowe Designer) in a rich red wine fabric.

“My favorite piece in the Rowe showroom this Spring High Point Market is the Darcy Sofa–I love it! It looks beautiful in this wine fabric, and I’m a huge fan of the really unique feet on this sofa. It’s one of my favorite pieces!”

Rowe finished market weekend strong with one of our most popular High Point traditions…Lobster Roll Sunday! Every year, we treat our guests to fresh lobster straight from the harbors in Boston, and everyone always looks forward to this special day! Between the lobster rolls and our amazing gelato cart (the can’t-miss flavor these season was a strawberry shortcake we’re still talking about), this was by far one of our busiest days at market, and a great way to close out the weekend! We’d like to thank all who attended market, corresponded with us, and followed us on social media–thank you all for another inspiring Spring High Point Market!
