This spring at High Point Market, we are excited to reveal the next chapter in our ongoing collaboration between Rowe & Robin Bruce and a hand-selected group of interior designers. This season’s My Rowe Design lineup features the creative powerhouses behind Erika Ward Interiors, Sunny Circle Studio and The LifeStyled Company, challenging them to create a space that showcases their favorite aspects of our thousands of custom fabrics and frame designs in their own unique styles. Each of our designers was inspired by the process of working with Rowe–from the ease of customization and diversity of fabrics to the overall quality and versatility–and the results have been astoundingly beautiful! We can’t wait to introduce you to our My Rowe Designers, and to give you a preview of their unique vision and style. On why she loves Rowe…

“I love Rowe for their versatility in style, their ability to stay classically current, and their commitment to quality.”

On her signature style…

“My signature design style can best be described as a classic style for modern living. My inspiration tends to be a hybrid of traditional design, Southern regional influences, and pop culture.”

On her My Rowe Design inspiration…

“This My Rowe Design space is inspired by my desire for more gathering rooms. Social media has helped us to extend our reach, however, I would hate to see us get away from physical, personal interaction. The generous, comfortable sectionals, club chairs and additional seating in the library encourages conversation–it’s essentially a modern day parlor.”

Standout Selection: Our Juliet Chair in a green basketweave pattern is a perfect match for Erika’s “traditional with a modern attitude” approach. We also love her use of the Cathedral and Dune end tables from our brand new line of occasionals–these two bold silhouettes add some visual punch to her beautifully conceived space!

Sunny Circle Style

Sunny Circle Studio is a decor and styling brand founded by Erin Wheeler in 2018, specializing in happy and approachable design for all. Inspired by “a little bit of everything,” Erin draws on her fascination with mid-century and traditional design, along with Scandinavian and coastal style to create her signature look. In addition to these influences, Erin especially loves the style of the 1950s, drawing much of her inspiration from decades past and adding a modern twist.

On why she loves Rowe…

“I love working with Rowe because of the range of styles and ease of customization. They offer so many beautiful fabrics and textiles to choose from in their collection!”

On how she likes to begin a design…

Normally, I’ll take one or two big pieces like a great rug and a beautiful chair and build off of that.”

On her inspiration…

“Our inspiration was a post-war apartment in Paris that has been modernized with beautiful pieces of decor.”

On her favorite Rowe pieces in the space…

“I love the Ethan sofa I chose, with its yummy tufting and clean lines! For our next project, I have my eye on several chairs and I found a really lovely leather ottoman I want for my living room!”

Standout Selection: The updated mid-century silhouette of our Ophelia Chair makes it feel right at home in Erin’s vintage-inspired aesthetic. We’re also loving her choice of the Skyler Chair in a wide windowpane check that echoes the structured look of its square metal frame legs, which feels so crisp and modern!

The Lifestyle Company

Kristen Forgione is the founder and principal designer of The LifeStyled Company, a design firm and retail shop specializing in a minimal & modern aesthetic based on “organic desert living.” A background in finance and fashion school led Kristen to reignite her childhood passion for all things color & design-related. In the last six years, LCo Design has become a leader in West Coast design, serving clients across the country and garnering attention from media outlets nationwide.

On why she loves Rowe…

“I love Rowe because of how versatile the line has become, now offering clean, modern lines with classic construction. It’s the best of both worlds for a progressive design team, like ours!”

On her inspiration…

“I was super inspired by a few fabrics that caught my eye on the design wall, which lead me to create this ‘Brooklyn meets Organic Desert Living space. The space will give you a glimpse into the home I imagine for a socially responsible, recent New York transplant from the West Coast, most likely an author or designer type. I literally can’t wait!”

On her favorite Rowe pieces in the space…

“The Gigi Ottomans…we’re doing them in this petite, almost animal print fabric, and placing them at a little breakfast table which will be so playful but sophisticated. Perfect for sipping pour-over coffee on those early NYC mornings!”

Standout Selection: Selecting the timeless lines and classic tufting of our Elle Sofa was a bit of a stretch, admits Kristen, who usually incorporates more modern lines into her spaces. However, Elle turned out to be the perfect piece to unite this eclectic, Brooklyn-inspired space!
